1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReelFit at https://reel.fitness or the ReelFit iOS application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. ReelFit is operated by Richard Herrada ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

ReelFit is a fitness application that allows users to save workout notes from social media content, create custom workouts, log exercise activity, and track fitness progress. When a user provides a URL, ReelFit uses AI to extract exercise metadata (exercise names, sets, reps, and weights) from publicly available content as a note-taking tool on behalf of the user. No video, audio, or image content is downloaded, stored, or redistributed.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You may sign up with email, Google, or Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
  • Upload malicious content, malware, or attempt prompt injection attacks
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
  • Use the Service to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Circumvent rate limits, subscription limits, or other usage restrictions

5. Content and Saved Workouts

When you save workout information from third-party platforms (such as Instagram or TikTok), you initiate the process by providing a URL to publicly available content. ReelFit uses AI to read and extract exercise metadata (exercise names, sets, reps, and weights) from that content as a note-taking tool on your behalf. No video, audio, or original media is downloaded, copied, or stored on our servers. We do not redistribute or publicly display any third-party content. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated workout interpretations may not be perfectly accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying saved workout details before use
  • We do not claim ownership of the original content from third-party platforms
  • Extracted workout metadata is stored in your account for your personal use only

6. Coach Mode and AI Disclaimer

Coach Mode provides AI-assisted exercise guidance, form cues, and workout tracking. Coach Mode is not a substitute for a certified personal trainer or medical professional. AI-generated guidance may be inaccurate or inappropriate for your fitness level or medical conditions. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any guidance is safe and appropriate for you.

ReelFit is not a medical or healthcare provider. The Service provides workout tracking and organization tools only. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise program. We are not responsible for any injuries, health issues, or adverse effects that may result from performing workouts found, saved, or tracked through the Service. You use any workout information at your own risk.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

ReelFit offers a free trial tier and paid Pro subscription. The free tier includes up to 5 workout saves and 10 Coach Mode sessions. Usage beyond these limits requires a paid subscription. Free tier limits may change at our discretion with reasonable notice.

On the web, paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. On iOS, subscriptions may be billed through Apple In-App Purchase. Billing terms and cancellation procedures differ by platform. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Refunds for web subscriptions are handled on a case-by-case basis. Refunds for Apple-billed subscriptions are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by ReelFit and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your workout data and logs remain your property. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. Upon deletion, all your personal data, workout logs, and saved workout metadata will be permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days. Backups containing your data may persist for up to 90 days before being purged. This action cannot be undone.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except where prohibited by law or where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReelFit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReelFit, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Apple App Store Terms

If you access the Service through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) these Terms are between you and ReelFit, not Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service; (c) Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content; and (d) Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
